Rivington Hall Barn Wedding Photographer

Barn weddings are always WOW! Rivington Hall Barn Weddings are no exception and this Historic wedding venue really presents that WOW factor feeling  as soon as you enter. Dimly lit, with just a few spotlights and covered in fairy lights, which creates a totally magical atmosphere. Always excited when I receive a booking for this stunning venue, has as a Rivington Hall Barn Wedding Photographer, you are spoilt for choice! –  pretty backdrop for your wedding ceremony & celebrations.

The Barn dates back to the Saxon era and still retains its impressive original beams. Originally used for Agriculture, the Barn was extended in 1905 by Lord Leverhulme and used as a tea room. After World War II and after refurbishment it became a venue for all types of events, and has continued to do so ever since.

Winter  Weddings

Hayley & Sean’s wedding was just at that end  of the Winter season, in March. Winter weddings can be so amazing. Even though we lose the light around 3pm – 4pm, which is a worry for some. I always turn these dark evenings  into a plus point. Giving opportunities for a few dramatic lighting outdoor images, that you would never be able to create  at a summer wedding. Sparklers-  again we need it to dusk or dark for these images to really shine. These images are so popular, right from September through to March April time.  The party feels like it lasts longer too, your guests will tend to stay in bar or main room rather than wandering of. Giving you much more time to chat to all your guests after dinner. So winter weddings….BIG TICK!.

Beautiful   Rivington   Barn  Weddings

Hayley & Sean were living in Dubai when they booked me for their wedding. They came to meet me before the wedding when they came over to the UK to visit family and their supplies. Was great to meet before the big day, and chat about ideas and hear more about their plans. Their styling was very relaxed & natural. With the over all colour scheme of blue being the theme. Lots of cute personal touches were added to tables and centerpieces. The show stopping cake was made Finch Bakery. These natural ‘naked cakes’ always look so scummy and smell delicious too.
