Hiya I'm Jules...

I've been told by many times that I felt like a mate, but just with a camera, which is the ultimate compliment! I got my first camera for my 16th birthday, which then lead me to studying  photography for my degree. I worked as freelance photographer and ran my own studio, before FALLING IN LOVE with weddings 16 ago years ago. Since then I've photographed over 800 hundred weddings, of all shapes and sizes. Whether its a grand hall or country pub I love a unique wedding!

My Loves...

Outside of weddings you'll find me doing something outdoorsy or getting creative, recently rediscovering my passion for art & pottery. I love a good work out, and have to squeeze in a few gym sessions a week. Although travel is what it's really all about for me, so I'm normally busy planning our next family adventure. Nights out you'll find me at a gig, a theatre show or a live music night at Matt & Phreds in Manchester - it's also where we had our wedding reception. The pizza & cocktails are the best⚡

Awards Winning

Thrilled to have received 'Highly Commended Wedding Photographer 2024' at the Great Northern Wedding Awards & Finalist in the 2026 awards too! Super proud of this achievement as its purely based on my couples feedback, rated for value for money, approachability and quality.

FAVOURITE FEEDBACK was that I made everyone feel comfortable & delivered a high quality product. My couples were also asked to give three words to describe me - friendly, fun, passionate, were the top three! - although my real favourite was 'like a mate'

My Style

I'm all about natural candid moments and weddings that don't take themselves too seriously.

A colourful theme, a couple who want to keep it real photos that capture their personalities are my absolute favourites.

My aim during drinks reception is to make sure you spend as much time as possible with guests, enjoying your canopies and a few bevvies, while I'm capturing the real story of your day.

I'm also a lover of a wedding that's more like party, so if you are planning on having a big one, please invite me along!

More than just weddings...

Well I'm mostly found photographing weddings but also love to photography you before and after the wedding too

I also photography headshots and commercial commissions. So if you have a business and are looking for some fresh images to showcase your products or yourself  I'm here for that too.
