First time as a Larkspur Lodge wedding photographer for me., and I absolutely loved it! – what a great venue. Love there are 2 rooms, so ceremony and dining are in two separate rooms. • How did you meet?

We initially met in Venue nightclub. 6 months later we bumped into each other again at the Deaf institute. We then went on our first date!

• Tell me a little about the proposal.

We went out for a walk to Macclesfield Forest where Andy proposed. My mums dog Alfie was watching.

• What made your choose your venue?

We loved the space especially the ceremony room!

HOT HOT HOT!! – Is the first thing that springs to mind when I think about this  Mid August wedding at the stunning Styal Lodge . It was one of the hottest days of the year,and even factor 50 couldn’t help! Saying  hat it did give us great light and a killer golden hour so TICK! This chic August wedding had it all. Gospel choir, beer pong,  a amazing magician,  a wild PPAAARRTTTYYYY and a big sparker finish at the end of the evening. Plus that beautiful golden hour? We decided the golden hour was the time to pop down to lake and make the most of the beautiful light. Which gave this gorgeous couple time to have a little quest time before the evening guests arrived. Will time for, a little stroll & a first dance practice ruin too. Then we  heading back to the lodge for some photo booth action, cocktails and the evening party. I’m pretty lucky that this is my third time, as a Styal Lodge wedding Photographer, so know the venue and amazing staff really well – (to read more about this fantastic venue scroll down- don’t forget to check out the pretty pictures on the way!)

Styal Wedding Lodge is a family-run, bespoke wedding venue set in the peaceful National Trust village of Styal, in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. An exclusive, contemporary, unique wedding venue in Cheshire. It whole venue so so well designed it flows so well from the stunning and huge! –  bridal preparation room, into ceremony room which leads straight into the enormous dining area. There’s a roomy terrace outside if the weather is good for everyone to chill. Loads of great spots for family  & couples photos. Then just 3/5min in the golf buggy is the wonderful Lake. Whatever time of year, or whatever time of day. This location  is  must. Although golden has to be my personal favourite. Rossendale Wedding  photography- WHAT a wedding! When a wedding venue has something a little different, then it gives me something exciting to get creative with.  Being based in Lancashire, I’m luck enough to photography at many unique wedding venues.  However this particular venue not only extremely unique, its based in the next village to home, in Helmshore, Rossendale.

Sarah & Jason an absolute joy to work with, right up my street. They met via a popular dating app, arranged to meet for a drink and the rest is history. They said they fell in love with the venue as it wasn’t a traditional wedding venue, that it was unconventional and rough around the edges. We also love Dot’s approach to farming and what’s she’s working towards in making her farm sustainable and eco-friendly

After a traditional church ceremony, in Jason’s home town of Clitheroe Lancashire we all travelled to Cronkshaw Farm in Rossendale for their party and wedding celebrations. We had a wonderful afternoon, feeding chickens, watching  the talented sheepdog round up a herd sheep. Drank beer and eat Lancashire crisps – What a total Joy!!

Ribble  Valley   wedding    photographer  – This awesome farm is located in the beautiful Alden Valley in Northern England   As well being a fully working farm, that offers venue hire for weddings & events, You can stay here in any of 4 types of rustic accommodation that they offer, including a TREEHOUSE! They can provide educational visits, toddler activity days & sheep dog demo sessions. You can zoom a goat, so they can give a special message to a loved, join in your work meeting or even have yoga session with the goats!

Cronkshaw Farm poultry, meat goats and sheep alongside our kitchen gardens, honey bees and broadleafed woodland. They use farming practices that promote healthy soils, care for the countryside, increase local wildlife and preserve traditional rural skills such as dry stone walling, hedge laying, coppicing and companion planting.
