HOT HOT HOT!! – Is the first thing that springs to mind when I think about this  Mid August wedding at the stunning Styal Lodge . It was one of the hottest days of the year,and even factor 50 couldn’t help! Saying  hat it did give us great light and a killer golden hour so TICK! This chic August wedding had it all. Gospel choir, beer pong,  a amazing magician,  a wild PPAAARRTTTYYYY and a big sparker finish at the end of the evening. Plus that beautiful golden hour? We decided the golden hour was the time to pop down to lake and make the most of the beautiful light. Which gave this gorgeous couple time to have a little quest time before the evening guests arrived. Will time for, a little stroll & a first dance practice ruin too. Then we  heading back to the lodge for some photo booth action, cocktails and the evening party. I’m pretty lucky that this is my third time, as a Styal Lodge wedding Photographer, so know the venue and amazing staff really well – (to read more about this fantastic venue scroll down- don’t forget to check out the pretty pictures on the way!)

Styal Wedding Lodge is a family-run, bespoke wedding venue set in the peaceful National Trust village of Styal, in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. An exclusive, contemporary, unique wedding venue in Cheshire. It whole venue so so well designed it flows so well from the stunning and huge! –  bridal preparation room, into ceremony room which leads straight into the enormous dining area. There’s a roomy terrace outside if the weather is good for everyone to chill. Loads of great spots for family  & couples photos. Then just 3/5min in the golf buggy is the wonderful Lake. Whatever time of year, or whatever time of day. This location  is  must. Although golden has to be my personal favourite. WHAT a fabulous year for me as Lancashire Wedding photographer

I was lucky enough to be non stop shooting from February to December this year, making 2022 one of my busiest years to date. As well as photographing lots of beautiful Lancashire weddings I also had the pleasure of getting down into Cheshire, Manchester and over to Yorkshire for a few wedding too. I generally photography weddings in and around the surrounding areas of the Ribble Valley, although I’m more than happy to photography anywhere in The North West.

I had the pleasure of covering some of my favourite Lancashire wedding venues this year including – Browsholme Hall,  Holmes Mill,  Eaves Hall, Bartle Hall,  Falcon Manor & Ashfield House.

Just wow! Jules photographed our wedding in April this year and was the perfect addition to our day from the moment she arrived, photography skills amazing but Jules is also the loveliest person who was on hand throughout the day to just help wherever she could, from helping tidy up with the bridal party to keeping an eye on our daughter whilst she napped during the wedding breakfast, she made us feel completely at ease! – Our day was captured perfectly and we now have the best bunch of pictures to treasure – thank you so much, we are so grateful!

Beautiful quirky spaces come together to make your creative dreams a reality.  The venue has accommodation including a luxury room for the happy couple.  There is a fabulous morning preparation area for the guys and a den for the boys. Choosing a photographer for your special day is quite daunting….are they going to make me do those cheesy poses, keep me away from my guests for hours or make really awkward jokes?! Thankfully, Jules came highly recommended by our venue and after looking through her Instagram page at previous work and having a quick informal chat….we knew she was the perfect photographer for us – and she did not disappoint!! From the moment she arrived to capture my preparations in the morning, she felt like a family member. She slipped into the group so easily as though we had known her for years!  We didn’t want to be away from our guests for hours and Jules made sure our ‘Couple Photos’ reflected us perfectly…relaxed and ridiculously happy!
