Red Hall Hotel in Ramsbottom is one of the most popular wedding venues in Rossendale area. As one of the recommended Red Hall Hotel Wedding Photographers I am lucky enough to be invited to their open day & fairs. I’ve been involved with many of their styled wedding photoshoots and had my work from these shoots featured in local wedding magazines. Helen, Red Hall’s wedding planner often uses my work on her social media posts to showcase Oscars restaurant and weddings at the hotel, which is always a real compliment!

Wedding Photography Red Hall Lancashire

I knew as soon as I met Heather & Leigh that we connected. Then we started to discuss their wedding ideas & plans I knew they were just my bag. I absolutely adore the story of how they met. It was all down to Heather’s called Blossom. Named after one of her favourite bands ‘Blossoms’. Heather posted a picture of Blossom on twitter and tagged the band, which they re-tweeted it! The post got 500 likes and some new followers too… one of which was Leigh! A true romance story began. Their wedding theme was based around 2 of their favorite things . Music & Ducks?. Ducks didn’t feature that heavily to be honest, but they do have a thing for ducks. So decided to dress the top of the cake with two Mr & Mrs wooden wedding ducks, shipped in all the way from USA. Their favorite bands were the inspiration for the dining room theme. Using vinyl records as table centerpieces. Which I believe they made them selves and it took bloody ages! Heather arrived at Red Hall in a beautiful white vintage Austin Mini, looking absolutely stunning working her very chic Hollywood style wedding dress & red lipstick. She then walking down the aisle to ‘She Bangs the Drum’ by another of their all time favourite band the Manchester Legends that are the Stones Roses .?

Always looking too make my couple’s portraits as fun, creative & as interesting as possible i had spotted a great location across the road from the hotel. As Heather & Leigh’s wedding has quirky, indie feel I felt it would be perfect , but needed to run it pass Heather first. So after their ceremony I said to Heather ”I have an idea for your portraits, but if its not your cup of tea just tell me’ . ‘There’s an industrial estate across the road and’…..’ STOP’ said Heather. ‘ I LOVE IT already lets do it!???. Crow wood Hotel in Lancashire had just opened in the November 2019 when I was asked to photograph a styled shoot for Little White Books wedding Planners. Since then I’ve photographed many Crow wood Hotel weddings Lancashire, including this New Year Eve wedding. Jon & Kate had the most wonderful wedding day at Crowwood Hotel. They choose a black & white theme, which perfectly worked with the black tie dress suits for the Groom Jon and his Groomsmen. Kate wore a chic satin, off the shoulder cream dress. Then changed into a stunning silver sparkly number for her second look. What an entrance for the first dance & party.

Even though it was a chilly December day, we had a little wander around the gardens and gorgeous lake, using the extensive grounds as our backdrop. I adored the art deco styling of the bar area, which would be a great spot for chic wedding portraits, don’t you think? The luxury hotel has a spa & gym attached to it making it really popular choice for Lancashire locals to celebrate their wedding day

She has photographed my maternity bump and a beautiful newborn shoot when my daughter arrived, which I treasure. We have also used Jules to photograph portraits of the family, when I surprised my mum for her birthday. She a just gem!
