Summer 2024 has been crazy busy one for sure, with some gorgeous weddings. However this one has to be my favourite for few reasons. Not only did I finally get my wedding on the Italian steps, which I was most excited about ( have had 4 over the last 2 years booked in but had to move indoors due to the weather!), Samantha & Danny are just the most lovely couple. Oh and did a mention its all happening at my favourite Ribble Valley wedding venue. Browsholme Hall has to be my favourite wedding venue in the whole of Lancashire so to visit there around 8 a year to photography beautiful Browsholme weddings is always real treat. I must have photographed over 40 wedding at this stunning wedding venue since my first visit in 2012. As a wedding photographer at Browsholme Hall and one of their recommended photographers, it's always a complete pleasure to be back there photographing more amazing LOVE celebrations!

Get to know Samantha & Daniel

How did you meet - We knew of each other in high school but started talking by chance in lockdown when Danny ran past my house looking very dashing haha I sent him a message on Instagram and it went from there
Tell me a little about the proposal – We were on holiday in South Africa when Danny proposed, it was our first day there and we went on a hike up Lions Head, amazing views with table mountain in the background and then when Danny pulled a ring box out of a travel adapter case I was in shock and then so excited
What made you choose your venue? It's just beautiful, rustic and felt quite relaxed, we saw three venues and we both picked a favourite secretly and we both picked Browsholme ????

WHAT a fabulous year for me as Lancashire Wedding photographer

I was lucky enough to be non stop shooting from February to December this year, making 2022 one of my busiest years to date. As well as photographing lots of beautiful Lancashire weddings I also had the pleasure of getting down into Cheshire, Manchester and over to Yorkshire for a few wedding too. I generally photography weddings in and around the surrounding areas of the Ribble Valley, although I’m more than happy to photography anywhere in The North West.

I had the pleasure of covering some of my favourite Lancashire wedding venues this year including – Browsholme Hall, Holmes Mill, Eaves Hall, Bartle Hall, Falcon Manor & Ashfield House.

Just wow! Jules photographed our wedding in April this year and was the perfect addition to our day from the moment she arrived, photography skills amazing but Jules is also the loveliest person who was on hand throughout the day to just help wherever she could, from helping tidy up with the bridal party to keeping an eye on our daughter whilst she napped during the wedding breakfast, she made us feel completely at ease! – Our day was captured perfectly and we now have the best bunch of pictures to treasure – thank you so much, we are so grateful!

Wow, just WOW! Talented, Professional, Hard-working, Quick turn-around, Lovely human being!! – Jules has been incredible. We received our online photo album just 5 days after the wedding and the photos are incredible. We just keep looking at them over and over again. They really capture the love and emotions of the day. Not only that but Jules and her colleague Anthony were not intrusive and often for the candid photos we hardly knew they were there.

The portraits and group photos were done quickly and did not keep us away from our day. . Sadly we are having to isolate because of COVID and she is the only one of our wedding suppliers to actually check that we are ok, and in fact sent us some photos early as a little pick-us-up. Thanks Jules – you have created some incredible images that will serve as memories for the rest of our lives together.

The May sunshine was so kind to this Wedding at Browsholme Hall Clitheroe and these two beautiful humans. Helping make me make even more of this beautiful Browsholme Hall Wedding, and giving us plenty of great candid opportunities as the guests relax in court yard for a gorgeous afternoon or games, drinks and nattering. Followed by portraits and a bit of walking and kissing in the sunshine. After dinner we had a glorious golden hour- followed by sparklers an AWESOME party. Making this wedding at Browsholme Hall Clitheroe absolute perfection.

Meet your Browsholme Hall couple

• How did you meet? We met at the works Christmas party. Rachel’s friend worked with Damon.Rachel’s standout memory of the night is Damon’s dance moves.

• What made your choose your venue? We are usually pretty decisive and easily reach an agreement. We had viewed quite a few venues and nothing felt “right”. When we viewed Browsholme it just clicked. When we got in our car to leave Damon said he had a feeling of “this is where I am going to be standing when I marry you” when stood in the barn.

• What are you most looking forward to on your big day? Finally being husband and wife! And having all of our friends and family under one roof!
