I can now truly call myself a fully fledged Outbarn wedding photographer. Whoop!! – As I’ve photographed at this stunning Ribble Valley wedding venue over 3 times in 2021, covering all seasons. My first one was in the Summer ( see Carly & Alex blog post), the next was Autumn and finally just 1 week before Christmas 2021 a beautiful winter wedding. I just need a spring wedding now to complete the seasons. Hold on! – guess what, yes just this week I’ve confirmed a 2023 Spring Easter weekend wedding, BOOM! Anyway back to this stunning winter wedding, and what a complete beauty it was. Chris & Michelle had booked me for their big day over 18 months before in the depths of Covid Lockdown. We all thought that Covid would be a distance memory and things would be plain sailing. However, as we now know that was not to be. Masks were still worn; well in church anyway and some guests had to cancel, due to having to self isolate. Including one of Michelle bridesmaids. One of her oldest friends, which was a real shame. Although in the technological times that we live in, her bridesmaids and 2 other families could’nt attend, did – Virtually! (See morning prep snaps below as she joins the girls at prepping fun for campers – truly genius!)

I’ve know her for absolutely years, a true pro making sure your day will go without any hitches. In fact the whole team are absolutely fantastic. Wow, just WOW! Talented, Professional, Hard-working, Quick turn-around, Lovely human being!!
Jules has been incredible. We received our online photo album just 5 days after the wedding and the photos are incredible. We just keep looking at them over and over again. They really capture the love and emotions of the day. Not only that but Jules and her colleague Anthony were not intrusive and often for the candid photos we hardly knew they were there. The portraits and group photos were done quickly and did not keep us away from our day. Prior to the wedding Jules had done an engagement shoot for us in the Wirral. She came over with her family who went for a walk whilst she came round some of our favourite places and we could get to know her. Not only is she incredibly talented but she is happy, bubbly, friendly and approachable. Sadly we are having to isolate because of COVID and she is the only one of our wedding suppliers to actually check that we are ok, and in fact sent us some photos early as a little pick-us-up. Thanks Jules – you have created some incredible images that will serve as memories for the rest of our lives together. xxx
