The Lake District is any wedding photographers dream – photographing wedding in the lakes is such a beautiful experience for many reasons but mostly for the amazing light. Wide landscapes often near water. Woodlands, jetties, and again THAT LIGHT! Whenever I have had the pleasure of shooting at the Lakes, even in Winter the lighting is superb. Quite a few weddings that I have photographed in the Lakes have opted to take their guests out onto the lake for a sunset cruise across Lake Windermere. The perfect opportunity is after dinner. Everyone can relax with a glass of chilled bubbles, enjoying the views, while I mix in with the guests capturing those magical candid moments.
