Historical Lancashire Wedding Venue
Browsholme Hall has to be one of the Ribble Valley’s most historical wedding venues. Its set in the most beautiful gardens, with aches of land and its own lake. I’m super lucky to be one of Browsholme Hall’s recommended wedding photographers and in the past 7 years have photographed over 25 weddings at this stunning Lancashire wedding venue.
Summer 2020 the owners Amanda & Robert decided that they wanted extend their wedding ceremony area to the great outdoors and highlight two existing areas indoor areas. So I was thrilled when Amanda & Robert asked me to photograph these new Lancashire ceremony areas for their website. I also had a big hand in the planning pulling together a handful of some of the best Lancashire wedding suppliers.
The NEW outdoor areas include the beautiful lilypond for outdoor ceremonies and the woodland glade, which are both absolutely stunning – see feature here – Woodlands.
Rustic Love Styled Shoot
The drawing room has been home to wedding ceremonies since the venue starting holding weddings back in 2012, but with Micro Weddings making a big splash in 2020 and small gathering becoming more popular it was time to highlight this area of the house and show off its utter beauty.
As part of the two day styled shoot, the second day was all about the inside of Browsholme. The aims were to showcase a ceremony in the drawing room. Featuring some natural portraits and capture some creative images for the amazing wedding suppliers involved in the shoot. Amanda our celebrant designed a beautiful ceremony reading for Holly & Brad our models. It created an atmosphere that creating the perfect ceremony vibes, allowing me to take photos as I would at a real wedding.
I really wanted to showcase the artwork, and stunning original features of the room, so had ideas set for the chaise and the doorway. The beautiful natural light from the windows is a must. This was ideal for some relaxed natural portraits. We got to feature lots of Sarah Layton Jewellery in this section of the shoot too.

Next we moved into the Rustic Tithe Barn, which is generally where most of the wedding ceremonies are held. Rosie from Amore Styling dressed the room showcasing here beautiful glass candle stands. Brides Little Helper supplied the green leaf arch, which I back lit to create a moody vibe.
The final are was the NEW Cart Shed, which has a beautiful cozy feel, ideal for micro wedding dining. Amore Styling & Brides Little helper, dressed the room to enhance the warm colours of the brick walls. The a splash of neon to create the mood. The vintage rose table dressing looked elegant, but kept with the relaxed feel. I worked with the natural lighting and added a little LED lighting too add a pop of drama to the images.
