Rachel & Shaun booked an engagement shoot as part of their wedding package and wanted it taken at the the Hall. As I hadn’t photographed there for a while, it was great to have nosy around the venue again. I discovered the beautiful woodlands tucked away at the back of the venue and we played around taking some lovely images. ‘This is where I will be coming back on the wedding day’ I thought.
Rachel and her bridesmaids got ready at home and travelled over to Bartle Hall. The wedding ceremony was in the main room at the hall itself. Shaun did shed a few tears as Rachel walked down the aisle. Which is always a must capture for us photographers – Love a bit of emotion! The rest of day flowed with champers, confetti, a little spin in the car, family & couples portraiture and lots more bubbles before dinner. The dining room as always at Bartle Hall looked amazing. Rachel had planned a decor scheme that was soft & rustic look. Dusky pinks and lots of natural foliage. A bit of drama was added with the R & S lettering. If you have paid for lettering; I always like to create a image with them – you’ve paid for them! – so why not.
As we move in September the sparklers start to make an appearance at weddings. There are so many fun things we can do with sparklers from writing, love hearts, sparkler run ( a bit like the confetti run. When you guests stand to side and you guys are snuggled in the middle). This is always a tense moment for me- the mixture of all that alcohol & hairspray can be terrifying!. I try to do them straight after dinner before guests get too tipsy:). These images are always popular and so effective.
